Converting DWI files to SM
The article is left here to help you if you need to do the conversion anyway.
You can convert your DWI files to SM files using Stepmania.
(Tested on Windows 7, Stepmania 3.9)
- Copy your DWI files including folders/banners to Stepmania/Songs folder
- Open Stepmania and select "Edit/Sync songs"
- Select Group - this will be your group folder with the DWI files. Let's mark this [YOUR_FOLDER_NAME]
- Select song you want to convert
- Select "Edit existing" - you should be in song edit screen
- Now press Esc
- Select "Save" and confirm
You can find your converted SM files in
c:\users\[YOUR_USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\StepMania\Songs\[YOUR_FOLDER_NAME]\[SONG_FOLDER]
If you can't find the file, just search for *.sm in your user home folder and/or check your program files/stepmania/songs folder
