  1. add inverse-T target layout

Like CROSS, but the down arrow is between left and right instead of below. Like arrow key layout on a PC keyboard. It's less of a stretch with the middle finger, and familiar to those who spent too long playing DWI on a keyboard...

  2. Display timing info where you can see it.

I had a hard time finding where the timing info is displayed, because it's right at the bottom, beneath my thumbs and completely out of my view while playing. (Btw I don't need the exacts a minus to the left or right of everything but marvelous for early or late would be enough for me)

  3. Ability to also reduce the standard arrow size, not just increasing it.

Currently you can scale up the arrow size from 1.0 to 2.5 (which is unplayable on my phone btw). I'd like to scale them down to 0.75 or so. This is probably not more than adding another few options to the scale menu.

  4. More precise User High Scores.

I'd like to be able to see my best runs in the song, with all the score info I see right after I finish it. (marvelous, perfect counter etc)

  5. Real time time counter

Sort of like the option in the Universe games, where you have the option of showing the amount of time spent in a song.

  7. Font Options

IDK I just don't like the font used for the UI all too much. An option to place your own font in a font folder would be good.

  8. Display song jacket on song info screen

Add a option to display song jackets instead of banners or display both.Later songs(mostly from DDR A and after) often have jackets but no banners exist, causing nothing showed up on info screen.

  10. Add the ability to add more backgrounds into the backgrounds folder and have it randomly alternate between them on startup

If any of you know the Mawaru series, this was my inspiration. I want to be able to have random text messages (or even random cool backgrounds) in my BeatX game!

  11. Show the song's name and difficulty in the score end screen

The end screen doesn't show the name of the actual song or the song's difficulty. Adding these would make the score screen much more meaningful.

  12. Adjust opacity/size/general visibility of tap buttons

The current tap buttons are hard to see, which makes them hard to hit when playing with Cross. Being able to make them bigger and less transparent would help a lot. Even better if the buttons could be surrounded by a nice big circle or something.

  13. Add left and right buttons to settings such as speed mods

One of the more tedious things in the app is having to mash so many options, such as the difficulty in speed mod. For example, maybe you want to set a song to 1.5 and accidentally tap it one more time and set it to 1.75, then you have to tap it over and over again still you get to 1.5 again since there's no back button. Same with the difficulty select. Left and Right selection buttons on settings like these would be very helpful!

  17. Make it stop songs if it played the stepchart (Read to understand)

Im assuming that stepmania ends a song early if its completed the songs stepchart but there is still a lot of song left.

Beat X needs to do this.
I possess a few songs where the steps stop coming but there is still many many seconds left of the song.

So could you make it so once the step chart is finished, it will fade the song out and stop playing after 5 seconds?

There are some songs I absolutely love to play but the last 30 seconds or so seem to have no notes.

  19. Set difficulty level differently in vs mode (multiplayer)

I was surprised that when playing two player vs mode with a dance pad, both players were forced to use the same difficulty level in the song. When I'm competing with my son, sometimes he would like to choose an easier setting than what I want to use. Otherwise, awesome game!
