Superpowered Audio SDK
Even on high-end devices, audio skipping is a big issue in BeatX and causes frustrating desyncs. With Superpowered Audio SDK featuring lower latency and stand alone processing, as well as much higher battery efficiency, no interrupt handling needed and compatibility with many more audio formats, audio skipping, desyncing and having to convert audio files to play them correctly would be completely out of the question. It also integrates time stretching and pitch shifting, potentially allowing the ability to speed up or slow down simfiles if desired, much like StepMania on PC.

Support Video on Background menu

1 voteThis won’t be implemented as there is very low impact on how many users will do this mod.
I will however consider this option when doing some menue refactor (if i figure out how to do random videos)

Automatically double the PPI during Portrait mode for Single Play
All that Portrait mode currently does is apparently just stretch the same layout you get in landscape mode so that it's larger vertically, making touch buttons and the step chart much too small with default PPI, showing you much more arrows on a step chart than you're supposed to see and making the game hard to play. Manually selecting a PPI which is double that of the default PPI seems to fix this issue, but what's the solution to high-PPI devices where the default is 640? (the maximum PPI). The game should just automatically double the PPI setting when playing…

Idea to sound delay each song individually and save those individual songs since many of them don't use the same delay.
one song I play can match the notes at 0.0, but another can match at 0.23, and another at 0.45. It gets tiresome to have to readjust the sound delay everytime I wanna switch between songs. i propose this idea to prevent that from happening, so whenever I wanna play a different song, I don't have to waste up to a minute to get the sound delay right. Thank you for consider this idea

The game does not collect data about your song/sm/dwi file library (Due to performance issues). The song packs are treated as folders.. so a random song is currently not possible.

Sorry, this can’t be done reliably on android as every sound is played with a nondeterministic delay (changes with every play). It would just mess up your timing.
You can try to use the vibrations to guide you a bit. To turn it on tap the upper right icon in the Settings screen.

Sorry but this can’t be done on android as android always plays any sound with a slight non-determinant delay.

I can’t,.. it will mess up the timing during gameplay… you can switch to landscape mode in Settings/Advanced

Display jackets instead of banners in the UI when found
The larger sized jackets would much better complement the screen and UI, and are just overall much nicer looking.

Actually, the tapboxes are quite large, you can see the tapbox areas when changing tapbox layout in Settings/Advanced.
